Sample Credit Report Dispute Letter #3 is a request to fix inaccurate information that caused your credit to be denied.
Whenever you apply for credit and are denied, you get a letter from the credit issuing institution (this is a legal requirement).
This letter states that you were denied credit and then tells you which credit reporting agency was used in the determination to not provide you with a line of credit.
Also in the letter, is a statement that tells you that you can get a free copy of your credit report from the agency the financial institution used in making its decision.
Take advantage of it and order a copy of your report. Review it and if it does have inaccurate information that could have caused you to be denied credit, then use this sample letter as a guideline.
