Credit Dispute Sample Letter #1 is used for a loan or charge card application denial and the discovery of inaccurate information. So if you have been denied a loan, mortgage or charge card due to incorrect information on your report, this would be a sample you could use.
Even though it is a sample, you want to be sure that in addition to updating any information within the brackets, you personalize it for your own situation.
Whatever you find incorrect, list it in the letter. If there is more than an item or two, you may want to number them 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C, etc. This way each item can be referred to more easily when you are dealing with the credit bureau.
Also, send a different letter to each bureau. So if you are sending something to Equifax, delete TransUnion and Experian. Send a separate letter to TransUnion and then a a separate one to Experian.

I have no knowledge of the these public records:
I have no knowledge or record of the following accounts:
If you are unable to verify any of these accounts, I ask that you please provide me with the name and address of the verifying party, how the verification was made and the reported first delinquency from the original creditor.
